Actalent seeks a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer to design spacecraft wire harnesses, cable routing systems, and support structures using PTC Creo and Windchill. You will contribute across the full product lifecycle, from concept through production, and create technical documentation to resolve manufacturing issues.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years of wire harness design experience and proficiency in IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with at least 5 years of professional experience in wire harness design.
• Proficiency in PTC Creo, Windchill, and knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design spacecraft wire harnesses and cable routing systems for space hardware.
• Support the full product lifecycle from concept through production.
• Create technical documentation and perform GD&T analyses.
• Resolve manufacturing issues and drive design for manufacturability.
