Job summary

Cinergy Technology Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to lead enterprise VMware and Windows engineering initiatives.

You will install, configure, and troubleshoot complex infrastructure, manage Active Directory, SCCM, SCOM, and Group Policy, and drive system deployments across test and production environments. This role requires 10+ years of relevant experience, eligibility for a Public Trust clearance, and a proven ability to work in a 24/7 on-call rotation,

Qualifications

BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of VMware and Windows Engineering experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance; US residency for last 5 years.

Responsibilities

Provide system installation, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Sets up administrator and service accounts; maintains system documentation and installs system-wide software.
Perform system updates and deployments across test to production environments.
Monitor infrastructure, systems operations and critical application services 24/7; report on capacity, storage and utilization; respond to outages and restore services.
