Job summary

S2i2-Inc is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to lead our Windows environments for the Defense Logistics Agency, ensuring security, stability, and performance across NIPR and SIPR networks, on-premises and cloud. You will drive automation and mentor a team while optimizing IT operations.

Requirements include 10+ years in IT, DoD 8570 IAT II/III, a technical degree, and strong leadership for process improvements and vulnerability management across diverse locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of progressive IT experience in information processing.
• At least four years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting software.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering).
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification at IAT II or IAT III with listed exemplars.
• Certification from a nationally recognized technical authority in the field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the stability, security, and performance of Windows systems and network connections.
• Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, and optimize network software and links.
• Manage information systems, resolve end-user issues, and conduct capacity analysis with actionable recommendations.
• Drive automation and training; support operational systems including maintenance, upgrades, and new installations across locations.
• Mentor and lead system administrators to optimize resources and user support.
• Lead vulnerability management with STIG/ACAS remediation and AD/GP management.
• Lead daily Windows Server administration across NIPR and SIPR, on-premises and cloud.
• Patching, vulnerability remediation, and team supervision to ensure operational excellence.
