S2i2 Inc is hiring a Senior Systems Administrator to lead the enterprise Windows environment for Defense Logistics Agency operations. You will oversee Windows systems, drive automation, mentor staff, and coordinate across on-prem and cloud environments, ensuring security, performance, and reliability.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years IT experience, DoD 8570 baselines, relevant certifications, and a technical degree; travel to multiple sites may be involved, with active security clearances

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive IT experience in Information Processing with hardware and software solutions
• 4+ years hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting software
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering)
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification at IAT Level II or Level III (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP, CCNP Security)
• One nationally recognized technical authority certification (e.g., MCSE, AWS/SOC)

Responsibilities

• Oversee stability, security, and performance of Windows systems and network connections.
• Plan, install, configure, maintain, and optimize network software and links.
• Organize and manage information systems, resolve end-user issues, and analyze capacity and performance with recommendations.
• Drive team efficiency through automation and training; support operations across multiple locations.
• Mentor and lead system admins, optimize resources and user support.
• Lead vulnerability management initiatives and patching, STIG/ACAS remediation.
• Lead Windows Server administration across NIPR and SIPR networks, on-premises and cloud.
