Job summary

S2i2-Inc is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to lead operations for the Defense Logistics Agency’s Windows environments. You will oversee stability, security, and performance across NIPR and SIPR networks, both on-premises and cloud components.

You will drive automation, mentor junior admins, and coordinate vulnerability management with a focus on resilience and compliance for critical DoD IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of progressive, specialized IT experience in Information Processing.
• At least four (4) years of direct, hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting software.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering).
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification at IAT Level II or Level III (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP, CISA, CASP+).
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority (e.g., Microsoft Certified solutions, AWS/GIAC certifications).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the stability, security, and performance of Windows systems and network connections.
• Plan, install, configure, maintain, and optimize network software and communication links.
• Organize information management systems, resolve end-user software and connectivity issues, and conduct capacity/performance analysis.
• Drive team efficiency through automation, process refinement, and targeted training; provide comprehensive support for ops systems.
• Mentor and lead system administrators, optimizing resources and user support.
• Apply advanced knowledge of application networking, load balancing, and fault tolerance; spearhead vulnerability management.
• Lead daily Windows Server administration across NIPR and SIPR networks—on-premises and cloud.
