Job summary

S2i2 is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our team supporting the Defense Logistics Agency's enterprise Windows environments. You will lead daily operations, drive process improvements, and mentor junior staff across on-site locations.

The role requires extensive Windows Server administration, Active Directory and Group Policy management, and expertise in vulnerability management, STIG and ACAS remediation, and PowerShell automation. On-site work at Fort Belvoir, VA, and other sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required.
• DoD 8570 Baseline Certification at IAT II or IAT III.
• 10+ years IT experience; 4+ years hands-on troubleshooting and configs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Windows systems, security, and network performance for DLA.
• Plan, install, configure, maintain, and optimize network software and links.
• Manage AD and Group Policy; monitor performance and automate with PowerShell.
• Lead and mentor system admins; drive automation and process improvements.
• Lead vulnerability management, patches, STIG/ACAS remediation, and operational support.
