Job summary

S2i2 is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to lead critical Windows environments for a DoD program. You will oversee daily operations, drive process improvements, and mentor a team to ensure mission-critical IT stability and security.

Responsibilities include patching, STIG/ACAS remediation, AD/GP management, performance monitoring, and PowerShell automation across NIPR and SIPR networks, both on-prem and cloud.

Qualifications

• Ten years of progressive IT experience in information processing.
• Four years hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting software.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
• DoD 8570 Baseline Certification at IAT Level II or higher.
• Certification from a nationally recognized technical authority (e.g., CISSP, CISA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stability, security, and performance of Windows systems and networks.
• Plan, install, configure, maintain, and optimize network software and links.
• Manage information systems, resolve end-user issues, and analyze capacity/performance.
• Drive automation and training to improve team efficiency and operations.
• Mentor system administrators and manage patching, STIG/ACAS remediation, AD/GP.
• Lead Windows Server admin across NIPR and SIPR, on-prem and cloud environments.
