Job summary

BayNova is seeking an experienced Windows Engineer for a remote role supporting a federal government client. Responsibilities include administering a large Windows environment, planning and implementing on Windows servers/workstations, and contributing to process improvements.

You will join a 24x7 on-call team and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience, expert PowerShell skills, and strong Microsoft tech proficiency

Qualifications

7+ years of related experience.
Expert level experience in PowerShell scripting to automate routine tasks.
Expert level skillset in Microsoft technologies including IIS, MSSQL and Active Directory.
Must be highly skilled in problem solving and systematic troubleshooting.
Methodical approach to change execution and implementation.
Understanding of TCP/IP concepts.
Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to obtain a Position of Trust Clearance.
24x7 on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Responsibilities

Administering and troubleshooting a large-scale enterprise Windows environment and subsystems.
Plan, design, implement, and troubleshoot the Windows server and workstation platforms.
Improve and streamline current processes.
Provide consistent customer service to clients.
Participate in a 24x7 on-call engineering team for after-hours issues.
