Job summary

BayNova is seeking an experienced Windows Engineer to support a mission-critical federal government client in a remote/work-from-home arrangement. The role covers administration, design, and troubleshooting across Windows servers and workstations, and requires 7+ years of related experience.

The candidate must demonstrate expert PowerShell scripting, strong troubleshooting, and deep Microsoft tech proficiency (IIS, MSSQL, Active Directory).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience.
• Expert level experience in PowerShell scripting.
• Expert level skillset in Microsoft technologies including IIS, MSSQL and Active Directory.
• Very strong troubleshooting skills and systematic approach to change execution.
• Demonstrated understanding of TCP/IP.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain a Position of Trust Clearance.
• 24x7 on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Administering and troubleshooting on a large-scale enterprise Windows environment, including subsystems and 3rd party apps.
• Planning, design, implementation, and troubleshooting of Windows server and workstation platforms.
• Improve and streamline current processes; provide consistent customer service.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call engineering team for nights/weekends as needed.
