Job summary

BayNova is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Windows Engineer to join our team in support of a mission-critical federal government client in a remote/work-from-home role.

Responsibilities include administering and troubleshooting a large-scale Windows environment (servers, workstations, IIS, MSSQL, AD), planning and implementing changes, improving processes, delivering reliable customer service, and participating in a 24x7 on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience.
• Expert PowerShell scripting for automating daily operations.
• Expert in IIS, MSSQL and Active Directory.
• Strong systematic troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Ability to follow formal change execution processes.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to obtain a Position of Trust Clearance.
• 24x7 on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Administering and troubleshooting on a large-scale Windows environment, including subsystems and 3rd party apps.
• Planning, design, implementation, and troubleshooting of Windows server/workstation platforms.
• Add improvements and efficiency to current processes.
• Provide consistent customer service.
• Be part of a 24x7 on-call engineering team with after-hours availability.
