Job summary

BayNova LLC is seeking an experienced Windows Engineer to support a federal government client in a remote/work-from-home role. You will administer and troubleshoot a large Windows environment, plan and implement Windows server/workstation platforms, and drive process improvements while delivering strong customer service.

The role requires 7+ years of related experience, expertise in PowerShell, IIS, MSSQL, and Active Directory, plus solid troubleshooting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related Windows engineering experience.
• Expert PowerShell scripting for automation of daily operations.
• Expert MS technologies including IIS, MSSQL and Active Directory.
• Strong systematic troubleshooting and change execution abilities.
• Understanding of TCP/IP and network fundamentals.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain a Position of Trust Clearance.
• Willingness for 24x7 on-call after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Administering and troubleshooting large-scale Windows environments and third-party apps.
• Plan, design, implement, and troubleshoot Windows servers/workstations.
• Improve current processes and efficiency.
• Provide consistent customer service across teams.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call engineering rotation for after-hours support.
