Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a System Administrator to manage on‑prem infrastructure and user support. You will handle Windows Server 2019/2022, patching, backups, incident response, and security posture maintenance while coordinating with CMEI offices.

Requirements include a relevant IT degree (Master’s preferred), 7–10 years’ IT experience, and US citizenship with the ability to pass a federal background check.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience); Master’s Degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in information technology or systems administration.
• US citizen with ability to pass a federal background check.
• CompTIA A+ or ITIL certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server 2019/2022 environments with installation, configuration, upgrades, patches and maintenance.
• Monitor backups and storage; troubleshoot alerts and ensure recovery readiness.
• Conduct vulnerability scanning and remediation with Tenable/Nessus and coordinate with EITS.
• Support incident response, triage issues and document remediation actions.
• Contribute to infrastructure initiatives and security authorization evidence.
• Assist with Records Management and CMEI program office collaboration.
