Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University seeks a Sr. Systems Administrator‑SCCM to manage Windows desktops via SCCM and support Enterprise Desktop Engineering. The role covers imaging, software deployment, testing, and troubleshooting across a large fleet, with a focus on reliable, secure endpoints.

You will work independently and with cross‑functional teams to research issues, develop automation scripts, and ensure smooth deployments for CTS, Radiology, and IT@JH.

Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's degree with 3 years related experience, or equivalent per JHU policy.
• Experience with Windows desktop management and client troubleshooting.
• SCCM expertise and familiarity with AD/GPO and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design, observe, and document IT processes to propose client/server solutions.
• Install and configure server hardware/OS per technical docs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot enterprise desktop environments and SCCM deployments.
• Develop scripts to automate systems management and reporting.
• Assist with Epic Health IT deployments and testing of applications.
• Monitor performance, backups, security, and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deliver quality IT solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and test scenarios.
