Job summary

South Shore Health System is seeking a Desktop Engineer to manage and enhance the Windows desktop infrastructure. You will lead SCCM operations, create Windows 10 images for endpoint devices, and oversee patch management and software deployment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related technical field (preferred).
3–5 years of desktop engineering experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain an SCCM environment across the infrastructure.
Create Windows 10 software images for endpoint devices.
Deploy and manage patching, updates, and software distribution.
Administer Group Policy and Office Customization Tools for endpoints.
Collaborate with IT teams to automate workstation deployment and configuration.
Provide escalated technical assistance to IT support teams and investigate systems issues.
Develop and document standard operating procedures for desktop solutions.
