Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries' Warfare Systems group is seeking an experienced Endpoint Administrator to own the desktop OS lifecycle across enterprise endpoints in a DoD-focused environment. You will design, deploy, test, and maintain OS images, and drive continuous improvement across the workstation fleet.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of endpoint administration experience.
• Deploying, configuring, and managing Windows or ThinLinux endpoints.
• Installing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting enterprise apps across large endpoint environments.
• Managing patching via MECM/SCCM and applying SRGs/STIGs.
• Collaborating with cybersecurity teams to ensure policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize OS images for enterprise endpoints.
• Own OS lifecycle: design, config, testing, release, documentation, improvement.
• Manage deployment and version control for enterprise apps and core endpoint software suites.
• Lead patch management for OS and applications; ensure timely release cycles.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve endpoint stability, security, and performance.
• Provide Tier 3 support for escalated endpoint issues.
• Monitor system performance and patch compliance using management tools.
• Participate in strategic planning for endpoint technology architecture.
