The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of hands-on experience managing Windows environments and SQL databases, with a focus on security, backups, and performance optimization. You will support a contract IT team and collaborate with developers and customers.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience managing Windows environments in mid-to large-scale settings.
• Experience with Active Directory, group policy, DNS/DHCP and Windows patching.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows patching.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Implement, support, and maintain backup/recovery solutions and disaster recovery plans.
• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server environments; write and optimize SQL queries and scripts.
• Collaborate with development and application teams to ensure system compatibility and performance.
• Maintain security best practices including system hardening and vulnerability management.
• Produce documentation for system configurations, procedures, and change controls.
