Job summary

Responsibilities include AD, DNS/DHCP, patch management, SQL Server maintenance, automation scripts, and security hardening. Collaboration with IT teams and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on Windows administration experience in mid to large environments.
• Strong SQL Server installation, maintenance and scripting capabilities.
• Proficient in PowerShell for automation and admin tasks.
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix) and ADGPO.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and patching; monitor performance and troubleshoot.
• Configure and maintain SQL Server instances; write queries for automation.
• Implement backup/recovery and disaster recovery plans.
• Collaborate with development and application teams for performance.
• Maintain security hardening and change controls; document configs.
