This hands-on role is a high-visibility opportunity to define architectural vision, mentor engineers, and drive technical strategy across multiple teams while applying best practices for secure, high-performance software.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive software development experience and Windows client software exposure.
• Strong design, performance optimization, and security considerations in Windows environments.
• Experience with Win32 API, IPC, Windows services, and secure credential handling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and automated testing in fast-paced agile settings.
• Excellent communication to translate complex tech into clear strategy and roadmaps.
• Ability to leverage AI coding assistants to accelerate development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic business objectives into technical roadmaps with Product, Eng Directors, and Architects.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA to deliver critical engineering initiatives seamlessly.
• Lead design and implementation of new features and services from conception to deployment.
• Mentor Staff and Senior engineers, guiding technical design reviews and setting engineering standards.
• Raise the engineering bar with code standards, automated tests, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing.
