Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in California is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure systems that power our Zero Trust ecosystem and protect company data across environments.

You will collaborate with open source projects, security teams, and product engineers to deliver reliable backend services, mentor junior engineers, and help shape our platform's future while working remotely with occasional office days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master/PhD's degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in test driven software development.
• Extensive experience with Go, Python, or Java (Go strongly preferred).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code deployments.
• Experience developing and deploying services in a Kubernetes environment.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills and the ability to work well within engineering organization and cross functions
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience leading technical projects and mentoring junior engineers.
• Show motivation for personal growth and learning new technologies to support the team's needs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure systems underpinning the Zero Trust ecosystem.
• Collaborate with security engineering teams to evolve platforms to meet business needs.
• Work with open source products to advance the client platform for corporate endpoints.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical initiatives with product teams.
