Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a highly skilled software engineer for its macOS-focused security platform. You will architect, build, and scale critical macOS services that empower device identity and zero-trust workflows.

You will lead technical direction, mentor engineers, collaborate with product and design, and drive CI/CD and secure-by-design practices. This role demands performance, deep platform knowledge, and the ability to ship high-impact enterprise software.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive software development experience for macOS/iOS using Swift.
• Deep expertise in macOS/iOS environments including design, security, and performance optimization.
• Proven experience with Xcode, LLDB and Instruments for debugging and memory/concurrency issues.
• Experience in fast-paced agile environments with CI/CD and automated testing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence technical direction.
• Proficiency with AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development.
• Cross-Platform context with macOS/iOS security features.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic objectives into technical roadmaps in collaboration with Product Management and Architects.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product, Design, and QA to deliver critical engineering initiatives.
• Lead design and implementation of new features and services from conception to deployment.
• Mentor Staff and Senior engineers, conduct design reviews, and raise engineering standards.
• Enforce high-quality code, automated testing, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and share knowledge across the organization.
• Adopt AI-native engineering practices to accelerate delivery and innovation.
• Prototype and evaluate emerging security/identity trends to stay ahead.
