United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Device Identity team, focusing on building and scaling server-side software for our security and identity platform. You will architect and implement features with Java and Spring, and collaborate across product and design teams to drive critical initiatives.

You will mentor engineers, participate in code reviews, and champion scalable design, automated testing, and AI-assisted development while delivering

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Proficient in Java and Spring.
• Experience with RESTful APIs for large-scale systems.
• Knowledge of security engineering and design patterns.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product, Design, and QA.
• Lead design and implementation of new features in the Java platform.
• Define engineering best practices and long-term architecture.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and guidance.
• Develop high-quality, test-covered software and CI/CD improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Champion AI-native engineering practices within PDLC.
