Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a senior Windows/DevOps engineer to own production Windows Server operations in a GOV Cloud environment, lead incident response, and design secure cloud infrastructure. The role requires hands-on administration, on-call readiness, and mentoring of junior staff.

Experience with AWS GovCloud, Terraform, and Ansible is essential. You will build CI/CD pipelines, enforce security hardening, and work on client sites in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• 10 years of IT/engineering experience including senior Windows Server operations
• U.S. citizenship or Green Card required
• Windows Server operations: 95% Windows production environment

Responsibilities

• Own Windows Server production operations (day one) in government cloud
• Administer and sustain Windows Server, patching and recovery
• Lead production incident response and root-cause analysis
• Engineer secure cloud infrastructure across Windows and Linux
• Automate with IaC using Terraform and Ansible
• Build CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
• Monitor, log, and alert to ensure availability
• Harden federal environments and IAM practices
• Document runbooks and mentor junior engineers
• Work on client site in Washington, DC
