Job summary

Dynamic Integrated Services seeks a Senior Application Packager to support enterprise Windows packaging and deployment within the VA environment. This hands-on role covers the full lifecycle from requirements gathering to production-ready packaging at scale.

You will build MSI, MST, and MSIX packages, troubleshoot using ProcMon and MSI logging, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into scalable technical solutions that meet security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of hands-on application packaging experience with Windows packaging tech.
• Experience with Flexera AdminStudio, InstallShield, and MSI-based workflows.
• Proficiency troubleshooting packaging with ProcMon, MSI logging, and Windows Event Logs.
• Deep knowledge of Windows Installer internals and registry handling.
• PowerShell and/or CMD scripting skills are essential.
• U.S. Citizen able to obtain Public Trust Clearance for VA work.

Responsibilities

• Build silent installation packages in MSI, MST, and MSIX formats and validate on Windows 11.
• Gather requirements with stakeholders and translate into scalable packaging solutions.
• Execute end-to-end packaging activities: source validation, build, test, deployment, support.
• Troubleshoot packaging/deployment issues, identify root cause, and implement fixes.
• Query/modify Windows Registry as part of packaging workflows.
• Participate in peer review to ensure quality and standard conformance.
• Ensure prerequisites and packaging standards are accounted for in every solution.
