Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is seeking Renewable Energy Technicians to perform field maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on renewable energy generators at our Wyoming, IL site. You will follow safety procedures and work under supervision as needed by your level.

The role includes installation, commissioning, and performance evaluation, with on-call rotation for Tech 2–5 and opportunities for training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years in renewable energy or related field preferred.
• Willingness to complete required training and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform unsupervised field maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on renewable energy generators.
• Lead or assist on-site maintenance tasks with emphasis on safety and asset integrity.
• Install, commission, and evaluate system performance; document work and maintain logs.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for certain Tech levels.
• Adhere to safety protocols, LOTO procedures, and site safety assessments.
