Job summary

Deutsche Windtechnik AG seeks a Senior Project Manager (Repower) to drive complex wind repower projects from concept through on-site execution. You will lead cross-functional teams of engineers and technicians, manage budgets, schedules, and risk, and ensure safety and quality across every turbine.

You will mentor site leads, engage clients to clearly define expectations, and optimize performance and ROI while coordinating with suppliers and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, or construction management.
• 8+ years of project leadership experience with focus on wind turbine repowering or large renewable projects.
• Strong understanding of turbine systems, mechanical/electrical upgrades, and compliance requirements.
• PMP certification or equivalent credentials preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 50% during project execution.
• Experience managing large-scale wind energy projects and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from planning and work planning through on-site execution and closeout.
• Provide project management and technical support for repower development and execution.
• Develop comprehensive project plans with scope, timelines, and resources.
• Create and maintain schedules, milestones, and dependencies.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to ensure on-time completion.
• Mentor project managers and site leads, coordinate with clients and stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with suppliers/contractors and oversee change orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environment, and permitting requirements.
