Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support North American wind turbine reliability and operational performance across the fleet.

You will own projects related to equipment reliability, condition monitoring, and continuous improvement, partnering with Operations, OEMs, and contractors. The role demands a Bachelor's in a technical field and 5+ years of experience, RCA expertise, and knowledge of wind turbine technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field.
• 5+ years in utility-scale wind reliability, operations, or maintenance.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of wind turbine technologies and failure modes.
• Proven ability to manage complex technical projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve asset reliability and performance.
• Lead RCA investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate turbine component condition using data and inspections.
• Develop repair strategies, retrofits, and maintenance improvements.
• Document engineering procedures, metrics, and standards.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams and contractors.
• Lead or support fleet-wide engineering programs and pilots.
