Job summary

Hydrogen UK Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support wind turbine maintenance in a renewable energy portfolio. The role is based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL and involves collaboration with Project Managers, OEMs, and contractors to improve equipment reliability.

The position is office-based with occasional site visits. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of wind/renewable energy experience, with familiarity with major turbine platforms

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3+ years of wind turbine or renewable energy engineering experience.
• Experience with turbine platforms (GE, Vestas, Siemens Gamesa) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for wind turbine maintenance and restoration projects
• Lead root cause analyses and recommend corrective actions
• Review repair procedures, technical reports and contractor scopes of work
• Support major component replacements, blade programs and reliability initiatives
• Develop repair recommendations and engineering solutions
• Collaborate with OEMs, vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues
• Assist with project planning, budgeting and technical documentation
• Contribute to fleet-wide reliability and continuous improvement
