Job summary

City National Bank of Florida seeks an experienced Wholesale Portfolio Risk Officer Sr to underwrite Commercial & Industrial and Commercial Real Estate loans and manage end-to-end debt products for select client relationships.

The role requires deep credit knowledge, independent analysis of cash flows, and strong collaboration with relationship managers to expand the banking relationship while ensuring risk controls and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of corporate/commercial banking experience or equivalent.
• Completion of formal credit training is required.
• Strong communication and analytical/technical skills including loan structuring.
• Demonstrated business calling and negotiation experience.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite Commercial & Industrial and Commercial Real Estate loans with sound lending decisions.
• Lead due diligence, credit package production and approval processes.
• Interact with clients via phone or in-person to support relationships.
• Ensure underwriting risk management adheres to bank policies and regulatory requirements.
