Job summary

City National Bank of Florida in Coral Gables is seeking a Senior Wholesale Portfolio Risk Officer to lead Commercial & Industrial and Commercial Real Estate underwriting, manage end-to-end debt packaging, and strengthen client relationships.

This role requires deep credit discipline, independent cash flow analysis, and collaboration with Relationship Managers to ensure sound lending decisions within approved authority.

Qualifications

• More than 10 years of corporate/commercial banking experience or equivalent.
• Completion of formal credit training is a critical prerequisite.
• Strong communication and analytical/technical skills, including financial accounting and loan structuring.
• Demonstrated business calling and negotiation experience.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite Commercial & Industrial and Commercial Real Estate loans with sound lending decisions.
• Make decisions within delegated authority based on cash flow analysis and risk guidelines.
• Deliver end-to-end debt product to client management process within Wholesale Lines of Business.
• Partner with Relationship Managers to manage client relationships.
• Lead due diligence, credit package production and approval processes.
