Truist Financial Corporation seeks an experienced Senior Underwriter to manage complex Dealer Services credit relationships in a high-demand portfolio. You will lead underwriting, structure loans, and coordinate with investment banking and corporate banking teams to deliver tailored financing solutions.

You will oversee risk evaluation, regulatory compliance, and proactive client engagement, ensuring sound credit judgments and robust risk controls across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field and at least 7+years of related training and experience in commercial/Dealer Services credit analysis.
• Mastery level proficiency with MS Office Desktop applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills and solid written/verbal communication are essential.
• Sound credit skills essential.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize workflow and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Underwriting: leads the entire commercial underwriting process both internally and externally with prospects and clients. Independently runs the most complex deals and largest credit relationships.
• Portfolio Management: manages assigned portfolio by monitoring performance, defining client credit solutions, and remediation.
• Client Calling Effort: expands client relationships through direct calling efforts and develops solutions meeting client needs.
• Subject Matter Expertise: collaborates with Investment Banking peers to deliver complex financing solutions; maintains knowledge of corporate banking and market trends.
• Deal Team Management: mentors junior PMs, Associates and Analysts and participates in annual performance reviews.
• Span of Control: no direct reports but coordinates with Clients, Portfolio Management, Relationship Managers, Credit Risk and audit functions.
• Problem Complexity: very complex; handles the most challenging names and leveraged profiles.
• Leadership/Influencing: develops independent viewpoints and mentors junior talent and partners.
• Nature and Impact: delivers solid credit and underwriting analyses and risk rating recommendations.
