Job summary
Freelance Latin America is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer for a fully remote role focused on messaging and communication APIs. The candidate will review partner code, lead technical client engagements, and improve processes across integrations using WhatsApp Business API.
You will work with international teams, evaluate implementations against specs, and contribute to onboarding tooling and internal reviews while maintaining strong English communication and adherence to US business culture
Qualifications
- Senior-level Solutions Engineer with hands-on WhatsApp API experience.
- Experience with WhatsApp API on BSP or technology provider.
- Ability to review partner code, APIs, integrations, and Postman collections.
- Strong understanding of API integration requirements and specifications.
- Ability to write and review code; AI tools are supportive, not a replacement.
- Ability to lead technical aspects of multiple client projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with process improvements.
- Fluent English with professional communication and US business culture familiarity.
- Collaborative, curious, and cross-functional teamwork oriented.
- Ability to complete a criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Review partner code and Postman collections to confirm full technical integrations.
- Evaluate and score integration requirements against rubrics for defensible decisions.
- Serve as the technical lead for multiple client engagements across the lifecycle.
- Independently manage technical aspects and escalate as needed.
- Provide clear updates on technical status and recurring challenges.
- Recommend improvements to processes and products based on patterns observed.
- Contribute to onboarding tooling for Apple APIs with real-world usage insights.
- Help improve technical review processes and internal tooling.
