Job summary

NWPX Infrastructure in Washington state is seeking an experienced Builder III to join our precast concrete production team. This role focuses on advanced form-building, reading blueprints, and working largely independently to meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include setting up steel forms, cutting and placing reinforcing steel, finishing concrete, and assisting teammates. The position requires strong teamwork, reliability, and adherence to production processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred plus experience in precast/construction.
• Ability to read blueprints, CAD/production drawings and measurements.
• Experience with hand and power tools and basic math.
• Ability to work with limited supervision while maintaining safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and assemble steel forms for precast concrete products.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings independently.
• Measure, cut, bend, and place rebar and steel mesh as specified.
• Pour, finish, strip, and patch concrete while maintaining quality standards.
• Identify and correct basic production or quality issues.
• Safely operate forklifts and other industrial equipment as trained.
• Mentor less-experienced Builders on methods, drawings, and safety.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and support other production areas.
