Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with elderly populations or senior wellness preferred.
• Strong organizational and event planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and compassionate approach to working with older adults.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a calendar of wellness and recreational activities for older adults.
• Lead group activities such as arts and crafts, fitness sessions, music therapy, games, and workshops.
• Encourage participation to promote social connection and reduce isolation.
• Coordinate logistics for events, including space setup, supplies, and transportation as needed.
• Maintain attendance records and gather feedback for improvements.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure activities are safe for health needs.
• Create and distribute activity calendars, flyers, and promotional materials.
• Support community outreach and special event planning.
• Ensure infection control and safety during activities.
• Report concerns to clinical staff.
