Job summary

Aegeus Inspection Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to ensure integrity and safety of welded structures in the professional, scientific, and technical services sector across the United States.

The role involves inspecting welding processes, materials, and finished welds to verify compliance with industry codes and standards. You will collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and project managers, review procedures, identify defects, and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) from AWS or equivalent recognized body.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding inspection in professional services.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, metallurgy, and codes such as AWS D1.1, ASME IX, API standards.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, WPS, and inspection reports.
• Excellent communication skills to document findings and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed visual and non-destructive weld inspections.
• Review welding procedures and documentation for adherence to specs.
• Identify defects, document findings, and propose corrective actions.
