Job summary

Gulfstream in Savannah, GA seeks an Equipment Maintain Techician III - Welding to perform advanced maintenance on aircraft production equipment and apply MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to fabricate and repair components. You will read blueprints and work with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced aerospace setting.

Ideal candidates have 5 years of welding and equipment repair experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a technical degree offset.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with electrical controls and mechanical applications in manufacturing.
• Experience supporting aircraft production equipment or aerospace manufacturing preferred.
• A 2-year technical degree may offset one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on aircraft production equipment.
• Apply MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to fabricate, repair, reinforce, and modify equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to support welding and maintenance activities.
• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain backups of process parameters and PLC programs.
