Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a Senior Aircraft Component Repair Technician for the Savannah, GA facility on the second shift. You will lead, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical and electrical assemblies per engineering data and manuals.

This role requires 6 years in sheetmetal/hydraulic or avionics repair, and preferred A&P/FCC/NCATT certs. Reading blueprints and using tools like Catia, SmarTeam or Mantra are essential.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering docs, CMP data and CBs.
• 6 years' experience in sheetmetal/hydraulic or avionics repair; related exp may offset requirements.
• APU removal, install and service; certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair mechanical and electrical assemblies per blueprints and manuals.
• Set up and operate test equipment for functional tests of aerocomponents.
• Inspect parts to ensure conformance to specifications and data.
• Maintain FAA Repair Station paperwork and traceability.
