Job summary

Gulfstream is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician 2 in Westfield, MA to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft-related production equipment. You’ll work to ensure safe, reliable manufacturing and support continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

Role involves diagnosing electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, performing setup and calibrations, and maintaining CMMS records in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of experience with electrical controls and mechanical systems in manufacturing.
• A 2-year technical degree may offset one year of experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment issues.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance inspections.
• Complete corrective maintenance to maintain reliability and performance.
• Conduct equipment setup and calibration activities.
• Maintain maintenance records in CMMS and support operations.
