Job summary

You will read blueprints, lay out fabrication work, and rivet assemblies with precision to meet stringent specifications. You will mentor teammates, manage tooling and materials, and ensure OSHA and FAA compliance in every completed unit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 years related structural assembly experience.
• Experience with Solumnia and Smarteam preferred.
• Q-stamp preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit detail parts and structures and perform drilling and riveting to meet requirements.
• Read and follow blueprints and engineering drawings to lay out, fabricate and install parts.
• Mentor and instruct other team members; develop methods to resolve installation problems.
• Rivet assemblies and use tools like riveting guns and pneumatic drills.
• Plan workloads to meet goal hours and oversee tasks and procure materials.
• Maintain logs and records (MIR sheets, DMTs, PCOs).
• Ensure defect-free assembly prior to final inspection.
