Top Echelon Software LLC in Pewaukee, WI is seeking a Senior Welding Engineer – Automated Systems to lead weld process development, mentor Robotic Welding Technicians, and ensure AWS D1.1 and ASME IX compliance across complex automation projects.
This on-site, first-shift role requires 5–8+ years in welding engineering, a Bachelor’s in Welding or Mechanical Engineering, US work authorization, and a willingness to travel occasionally for commissioning.
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering or Mechanical Engineering required or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 5–8+ years of progressive welding engineering experience.
- US work authorization (U.S. Citizen or Green Card).
- Local Pewaukee commute (~45 minutes).
Responsabilidades
- Act as technical lead for Robotic Welding Technicians, provide hands-on troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Develop, document, and qualify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and welding parameters.
- Review robot weld paths, qualify procedures, and ensure code compliance (AWS D1.1, ASME IX).
- Support equipment integration, robot commissioning, and process validation; travel for startup support.
