Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in Pewaukee, WI, is seeking a Senior Welding Engineer for automated systems. The role focuses on leading robotic welding efforts, developing welding procedures, and ensuring code compliance with AWS D1.1 and ASME IX on complex, one-of-a-kind automation projects.

You will mentor Robotic Welding Technicians, review weld paths and procedures, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to deliver defect-free builds on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8+ years welding engineering experience.
• US work authorization (US citizen or green card).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for Robotic Welding Technicians.
• Develop, document, and qualify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and parameters.
• Select welding processes and optimize tooling and fixtures.
• Ensure code compliance with AWS D1.1 and ASME IX.
• Support project estimating on weld feasibility and cycle times.
• Assist with equipment integration and commissioning.
