Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a technical field related to welding engineering or materials science.
• Strong understanding of metallurgy and ferrous/nonferrous welds.
• Experience developing and qualifying welding processes in high-consequence manufacturing.
• Familiarity with quality systems like NQA-1, ISO-9001, AS9100.

Responsibilities

• Provide welding-engineering input to component designs and procurements.
• Lead weld-process development and production transfer.
• Author welding specifications, procedures, and qualification plans.
• Oversee supplier qualification, testing, and process- qualification activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet schedule and cost goals.
