System One is seeking a Plant Integration Engineer – Steam & Power Systems in Bellevue, WA. This contract role requires oversight of mechanical and process systems across Energy Island and Nuclear Island, with coordination of geographically distributed engineering teams.

Candidates should bring 10+ years in nuclear or large industrial facilities, strong process fluid systems experience, and proven leadership in multi-discipline projects. Onsite work model required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in nuclear power plant design or large industrial facilities.
• Strong experience with process fluid systems and power equipment.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering or system integration efforts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical integration and oversight for Energy Island and Nuclear Island mechanical and process systems.
• Coordinate engineering activities across distributed and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support development and integration of steam, power cycle, heat transfer, thermal energy storage, and auxiliary systems.
• Review engineering deliverables for quality and interface compatibility.
• Collaborate with partners to manage system interfaces and 3D models.
• Interface with design, systems engineering, and analysis teams; drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Identify design risks and propose technical solutions throughout design.
