Job summary

R & R Manufacturing – Broussard, LA is seeking an Experienced Welder / Fitter to join our team. You’ll perform welding and fitting on structural, pipe, skid, vessel, and custom fabrication projects, reading blueprints and welding symbols to ensure quality and compliance with AWS, ASME, and API specs.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of hands-on welding and fabrication experience, proficiency in MIG, TIG, Stick and Flux Core, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a shop and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on welding, fitting, and/or industrial fabrication experience.
• Strong reading of blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication specs.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick and Flux Core welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fitting on structural, pipe, skid, vessel, and custom fabrication projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, technical drawings, and fabrication layouts.
• Follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and established welding procedures.
• Prepare materials through cutting, grinding, beveling, fitting, and joint preparation.
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality and workmanship.
