Job summary

The Hired Guns are recruiting a Website Content Writer to reshape the digital front door of a premier healthcare system. You’ll transform dense medical content into clear, engaging experiences for students, patients, and the public.

You’ll join an embedded Digital Experience team, collaborating with editors, designers, developers, and stakeholders. Remote role, Eastern time zone hours, with long-term enterprise-scale content work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years writing and editing for the web with the ability to simplify dense information.
• Deep knowledge of SEO, GEO/AEO, accessibility, UX writing, and content best practices.
• Experience in a CMS (Drupal a plus) and managing projects through ticketing tools.
• Comfortable in a collaborative, camera-on environment with daily standups.
• Bonus: healthcare, medical, or higher education writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Transform dense medical and academic content into clear, engaging web content.
• Drive migration of about 10,000 pages and help launch microsites.
• Collaborate daily with editors, designers, developers, and stakeholders.
• Tailor messages for diverse audiences including students, patients, researchers, and the public.
