Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Software Developer (Web) to build a collaborative XR platform. You will collaborate with UX designers to create modern, high‑performing web frontends that power XR experiences across cloud and on‑device environments.

You will work with React/TypeScript, backend services (Golang, AWS), and real‑time data technologies while leading projects across teams. This role is remote, with opportunities to influence major XR initiatives at Autodesk.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in frontend software design and development.
• Strong JS/TS, React, and performance profiling in modern browsers.
• Experience with WebSockets, JSON/Protobuf, and real‑time data.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend apps (JS/React/TS) with backend services (Golang/AWS).
• Build high‑performing web components for XR headsets and immersive experiences.
• Lead large projects across teams, defining scope and milestones.
• Collaborate with architects, UX designers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Shape system design across cloud and web to improve scalability and performance.
• Lead technical discussions and document solutions for adoption.
