Akamai Technologies, Inc. invites you to join its web performance pre-sales team as a Senior Technical Solutions Architect, shaping technical go-to-market strategy and guiding complex customer conversations.
You will collaborate with Engineering and Product Management, lead Proofs of Concept, and mentor Pre-Sales SMEs while applying deep knowledge in cloud, edge computing, security, and web delivery to deliver cutting-edge solutions for enterprise clients.
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in technical roles and customer-facing environments.
- Experience in technical pre-sales working directly with customers.
- Proficiency with TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, APIs, CI/CD and cloud architecture.
- Knowledge of DNS, cloud security, SAML and OIDC, IdPs, authentication/authorization.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategy and customer conversations selling web performance products from a technical go-to-market perspective.
- Support strategic opportunities as Pre-Sales technology specialist and escalation point.
- Contribute as SME in one or more web performance products.
- Assist Solutions Engineer teams with complex PoCs and escalated discussions.
