Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Sr Software Engineer I to design and implement a new web-based UI for a surgical robotics product. You will review AWS services and databases to plan modernization and improvements, applying best practices and continuous testing. You will grow domain expertise while collaborating with systems engineering and QA teams.

The role requires strong programming skills in modern languages and a proactive, cross-functional mindset, with up to 10% travel.

Formación

Bachelor Degree in CS, CE, EE, or related field.
Min 5 years of application software development experience.
Proficiency in one or more modern languages: C#, Java, JS/TS, Go, Rust, C++, Python.
Strong OO design/analysis with UML.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
Agile software development experience.
Willing to travel up to 10%.

Responsabilidades

Designing and implementing a new web-based user interface for a surgical robotics product.
Reviewing existing AWS cloud services and database structures to modernize and improve initiatives.
Utilizing development best practices, including continuous software testing.
Acquiring and maintaining domain expertise of relevant software technologies and products.
Working with systems engineering & software QA teams to generate software requirements, design specifications, and assist with software test methods.
