Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related technical field with typically two to five years of relevant DevOps, software engineering, infrastructure automation, or CI/CD experience.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, shell scripting, or Groovy.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery technologies such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Experience with virtual machines, containers, and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration automation using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
• Working knowledge of modern GitOps and cloud-native observability practices using Argo CD, Flux, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Strong networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with source control systems such as Git and TFVC.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience in regulated software development environments; medical device software experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with secure software development, configuration management, release controls, traceability, vulnerability management, secrets management, access controls, and software supply chain security.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical owner for assigned POC DevOps tools, services, automation platforms, and infrastructure.
• Independently evaluate and implement scalable technologies to improve reliability, security, maintainability, and developer productivity.
• Administer, maintain, and monitor on-premises and cloud-based DevOps servers and resources to support CI/CD.
• Optimize DevOps servers and resources for scalability, efficiency, performance, and cost.
• Investigate complex pipeline, infrastructure, integration, and performance issues; identify root causes.
• Define and monitor service and automation metrics and deliver measurable improvements.
• Maintain the POC Jenkins server; support and develop Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Own, deploy, and maintain POC software quality and DevSecOps tools and integrate them into pipelines.
• Set up and maintain labs and test environments for regulated medical device software testing.
• Support R&D AI projects and data ETL infrastructure and pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant DevOps solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and share DevOps knowledge and best practices globally.
