Siemens Healthineers is seeking a software engineer to design and implement a web-based UI for a surgical robotics product. You will modernize AWS services and databases, apply best practices including continuous testing, and work with systems engineering and QA to define software requirements.

Required experience includes WASM, SpringBoot, HTML5, AWS ECS, PostgreSQL, Docker, and medical device software with FDA/ISO/IEC guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related technical area.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing application software.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Rust, C++, Python).
• Strong object-oriented design/analysis with UML.
• Strong communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with agile software development.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsabilités

• Designing and implementing a new web-based UI for a surgical robotics product.
• Reviewing AWS cloud services and database structures to modernize and improve them.
• Applying development best practices including continuous software testing.
• Acquiring and maintaining domain knowledge of relevant software technologies.
