Princess Cruises in Seattle, WA is seeking a Sr Web Architect, Product Engineering to lead the architecture, development, testing, and deployment of our guest-facing web platform, and to drive AWS-based migration for high availability and scalable eCommerce.

The role requires 8+ years in enterprise IT collaboration, 10+ years delivering technology products, 5–8 years in web tech (JS, React, Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL), and 3+ years in AWS/EKS. In-office with less than 25% travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise IT collaboration.
• 10+ years delivering technology products.
• 5–8 years in web technologies (JavaScript, React, Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL).
• 3+ years in AWS architecture (EKS, blue‑green deployment).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Math.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, testing, and deployment of high-quality software solutions.
• Lead eCommerce Web product engineering including vacation smart search and cruise reservations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technology alignment and predictable delivery.
• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters using AWS EKS.
• Manage blue‑green deployment strategies to minimize downtime.
